Chemtronics Direct, a business unit of the Cabrini Technology Group, was formed as an extension to the highly successful Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering business that has supported hospitals since 1978. Chemtronics Direct was formed to provide direct specialist services on Assistive Technologies. It services ramped up dramatically in 2011 when it was awarded as the sole provider for repairs, reissue and maintenance of the Assistive technologies owned and operated by the Victorian Government under the State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP). This contract saw Chemtronics Direct grow significantly as it set up its main warehouse in Thomastown Victoria.
Chemtronics Direct now supports over 25,000 Assistive Technology assets that fall under SWEP. In addition, Chemtronics Direct supports a growing quantity of Assistive technologies across Australia. Another major client is the NSW Government program, Enable NSW.
